I have been collecting soft drink bottles and ads from Quebec soft drink and beer companies for many years. I am always looking for new pieces to enrich my collection. I am always looking for new items to add to my collection, whether it be beer, milk or liquor bottles. I am also looking for advertising items that these companies used to advertise their products.

The Bytown Antique & Bottle Club is the successor to the Bytown Bottle Seekers' Club, which was founded in 1970.

The Collectors of Canadian Brewery Advertising can trace our roots to 1980 when the first convention was held in Toronto under the banner of The Canadian Brewerianist, which is an informative subscription magazine owned by Loren Newman of Bright’s Grove, Ontario.

The Four Season Bottles Collectors Club was founded in 1976 to provide a forum for collectors to meet one another and share their knowledge and collections. 

The Fraser Valley Antiques & Collectibles Club is a non-profit organization which was established in 1984 and has members that are devoted to the identification, preservation, appreciation & collection of antiques, collectibles & artifacts.

When this website was first launched in 2001 there were only a few examples from the 19th century. Since them with the help of archaeologists, collectors and historians from around the world scores of examples have been recorded and categories established. There is a much better understanding of  the letter and number codes used. Much of this new information was published in a full colour book in 2015.

I’ve collected antique glass and stoneware bottles since 1974. I’ve published both a magazine and several books on antique glass and stoneware here in Canada through the years, and I ran an absentee auction house from about 1993 to 2012. Antique glass and stoneware are basically a part of my DNA.
